Stagehand
Reed Arena hires stagehands to help the full-time crew with events. Stagehands may be asked to work on a wide variety of tasks including, but not limited to: unloading and loading of trucks, set-up/strike of lights, sets, stages, risers, chairs, the basketball floor, curtains, truss, tables, or other equipment. Stagehands could be asked to perform light cleaning duties before, during, and/or after events. Also, stagehands may be needed during shows for: wardrobe, followspot, or backstage.
No previous training or background is required; however, previous construction, electrical, or theater experience is helpful. The ability to speak and understand English is required. The work is often very physical in nature, so lifting and moving heavy objects is necessary. If you have previous theatrical or event experience, please be sure to let us know.

Usher
Reed Arena hires ushers to help us with events. Ushers are hired on an on-call basis for events to work with the full-time crew at Reed Arena. The guest services department is our first line of communication to our guest, and it is our responsibility to greet everybody with a smile. Ushers are responsible for communicating with our customers, building customer rapport, and projecting a friendly and professional image of our facility.
No previous training or background is required; however, if you have previous usher experience please let us know. The ability to speak and understand English is required. Excellent customer service is a must and it is necessary for usher candidates to be friendly, professional and reliable.
